The FishWorks Seafood Cafe opened in Bristol in May 2001 and went straight into the 2002 Good Food Guide. It's been listed again - as have both the other FishWorks venues in Bath and Christchurch - in the latest 2003 Good Food Guide, and has built up an excellent reputation for the high quality of its ingredients and its simple cooking style. The presence of the fishmongers within the restaurant guarantees a plentiful supply of the freshest seafood and gives diners the opportunity to select their own produce. The Classics Menu is supplemented by the daily Specials Board, which varies depending on that day's landings. FishWorks Cookery Schools regularly take place on Mondays when the restaurant is closed to the public.
